I am a PRIVATE coach and not class oriented. I guide on an individual basis -- all ages, all levels.
All my clients get a phone consult before you book, to determine your coaching needs. I want to know all your desires, as well as ascertain what you think or know of the biz and what goals you wish to achieve.

At your first session I would also like you to bring any 8 X 10 photos to assess -- if you have them. If you don't have them, bring some 4 X 6 shots of whatever you have. Also, if you have a little song (acapella) or a couple of pieces to perform for me too that would be a great start!
From that, I have a good idea what direction to go with you and with what to proceed to help you ATTAIN your goals. Each actor no matter the age, 3-80 are all different. If, later on in the coaching process, actors I work with want to do scenes... those are also private sessions and not class oriented -- and will be from my pick of students who express like interest.
As I mentioned in my ad, a former student was recently on 3 episodes of NIP/TUCK last season, although that is by no means her only accomplishment!

My coaching is along the lines of audition monologue work for theatre or script/scene work for cold reads/commercial auditions. I can also do musical audition coaching as well -- really learn how to SELL that song! ANY performance need you have is DO-ABLE!!! You could also just be a Salesman who wishes to sell his product better or a speechmaker who wishes to do better each time you step up to a podium.
I don't teach any particular method -- whatever works for YOU! My methods of study were the Boleslavsky method and Steppenwolf classes, and YEARS of on-the-job "training" -- THE BEST KIND!!! My own audition ratio speaks volumes! The last 3 auditions I did, I got called back for all 3 and got 2 jobs. I MAY plan to have an audition/scene PERFORMANCE with students who wish to do so as part of my coaching as well, again ONLY for those students interested!
I rent one of two spaces next door to each other on the Northwest side of the city of Chicago on a per coaching session and availability. The studio is on Belmont just west of Elston and 1/4 block east of Sacramento, near Blue Line and other public transportation. Your session cost is $40 per hour. I can tell you right from the first session we will be immediately WORKING HARD!
